How much power does the X8 VT-Drive deliver?
The X8 VT-Drive produces up to 313 hp from its FPT N67 six-cylinder engine. This gives you the muscle to handle heavy cultivation, large implements and demanding fieldwork with ease, while maintaining strong performance in tough conditions.
What engine technology does it use?
It features an eVGT variable-geometry turbocharger, intercooler and common rail system, paired with the HI-eSCR2 system for full Stage V emissions compliance. You also benefit from up to 40% torque backup, so the tractor pulls strongly even when the going gets tough.
How is fuel and AdBlue capacity managed?
The X8 VT-Drive carries a generous 550-litre fuel tank and a 71-litre AdBlue tank. This means longer working sessions and fewer interruptions during busy periods.
Transmission
What is VT-Drive and how does it work?
VT-Drive is a continuously variable transmission, delivering seamless, stepless power across the full speed range. With no fixed gears to shift through, you get smooth acceleration and precise control whatever the task.
Can I set the transmission to suit different jobs?
Yes. VT-Drive offers four programmable speed ranges, letting you tailor performance to the work in hand. Controls are integrated into the EasyPilot joystick, keeping everything intuitive and within easy reach.

How capable is the hydraulic system?
The X8 VT-Drive uses a closed-centre hydraulic system with a 212 l/min variable displacement pump. This delivers fast, responsive flow for demanding implements and multiple simultaneous operations.
How many remote valves are available?
You can specify up to 11 electrohydraulic remote valves: six at the rear (including a three-way flow divider), three at the front and two mid-mounted. This gives you outstanding flexibility for a wide range of attachments.
What is the lift capacity?
The electronic rear hitch lifts up to 12,000 kg, while the electronic front hitch handles up to 5,000 kg. You'll have the strength to manage the heaviest implements with confidence.
